These are the people that help lead the church body
About Pastor Andy:
Andrew John Pepe – born on April 19th 1962 in Hackensack, NJ, 3 ½ months premature and was not expected to live through the night. Well, God had plans and the doctors were wrong.
Andy was raised in the Catholic Church. At age 17, after attending a Bible Study and hearing the Good News, he met Jesus on the side of the road and asked Him into his heart.
Andy is a 1980 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and achieved the rank of E-8 before being commissioned as a Chief Warrant Officer. He served his country for more than 24 years and retired as a CWO-4 in 2005.
Throughout his military career, he served in various church ministries, Director of Kings Kids (Elementary Ministry), Youth Pastor, and Assistant Director of Reformers Unanimous International (Additions Recovery Ministry). While serving as Youth Pastor, Andy received the deep heart calling of full-time ministry and sought formal education even while still serving as a full-time military member. He is 2004 graduate of Heritage Baptist Institute in Cleveland, Ohio with a Bachelors in Theology. Andy was ordained in 2006. He served God faithfully as a Senior Pastor for 6 ½ years and an interim pastor for almost a year. In 2015 God called Andy to plant a church in the Butler, PA area and the Berean Bible Chapel was started.
Andy has also worked at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies and the Butler VA Medical Center where he retired in 2022 as the Chief of Voluntary Services.
In his personal time Andy enjoys the outdoors. He enjoys hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Amy enjoy camping and hiking and exploring new places. He loves studying the scriptures and the writings of some of his favorite authors – Charles Spurgeon and Charles Stanley to name a few.
Andy and Amy have been married for over 40 years, have 3 grown children and one granddaughter. They reside in Harmony, PA.
